Dominic Landivar

Education

Dominic has been studying guitar since he was five years old, and is currently pursuing a major in jazz guitar performance at Kennesaw State University. Throughout high school, he studied guitar and began to learn music theory concepts with David Puett. Currently at KSU, Dominic is studying jazz guitar under Trey Wright, with an expected graduation date of May 2027.

Experience

Dominic has been a gigging musician since age 13. With his band The Expectations, he played prominent venues in Atlanta such as The Masquerade and Smiths Olde Bar, as well as numerous county festivals, ballets, private events, and weddings. He also has experience playing on tour with the Landon Smith band in Canada, for a run of shows opening for Gavin Adcock. Dominic currently gigs around the Kennesaw, Atlanta, and Newnan areas with jazz duos and combos.

Objective

To facilitate the learning of each individual student, and introduce musical and theoretical concepts. Dominic ensures to tailor a custom program suited to the expectations of each student and beyond.
