Tony Merritt

Tony Merritt has been involved with the music industry for much of his life. His skills and knowledge base encompasses everything from music performance, education, manufacturing, sales and marketing. Tony’s music education began at 6 after it was discovered that he had already begun playing by ear. He was performing in professional music by the time he was 13. Tony was the only student in the state of South Carolina to be selected for both All State Band and All State Chorus, which resulted in him being awarded for his high school. Tony was selected to perform in the 1970 South Carolina Tri Centennial concert. While performing in local shows, he was recruited to demonstrate pianos and organs nationally by Kimball Piano and Organ Company, where he later worked as a district manager. Later he worked as Regional Manager for Steinway Piano. As early as 1974, Tony has also been involved with Music Education Life Movement volunteering to teach anyone who wants to learn how to play the piano from 6 to 100

His added abilities in computer technology, including electronic music production, web site design, online shopping carts and e-commerce design, make Tony a unique multi-media individual, and a wonderful teacher. Tony Merritt also has a genuine history of personal integrity, which has been recognized at very high levels throughout his career, including the honor of being asked to address commencement ceremonies at Kennesaw State University, and participate in the think tank committees in Georgia University System, and the Who’s Who of Colleges and Universities.
