Dan Manning

Background – Dan has been teaching and performing guitar and bass in the Atlanta area for over 25 years. He has a high level of Proficiency in many pop styles (rock, jazz, blues, and country) as well as classical guitar.

Teaching experience – 25+ years

Studies – Received a B.A. in Guitar Performance from Kennesaw State University, 1992

Teaching Objective – “I seek to help students meet their musical goals, and as well as to expose them to new possibilities.”

Teaching Styles – “I tailor to a program specifically for each student. I feel that it’s important to recognize the different objectives, backgrounds, and lifestyles that each student may have, and to help facilitate their success from that perspective.”

Music Taught – “This is a very hard question for me…I truly enjoy them all so much. I suppose Jazz if I must choose though.”

Age – “It’s fun to learn music together at any age! 14-20 seem to be special years, I suppose for music learning.”
