Brittany Hicks Years Teaching: 11+

Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance, University of Maryland, College Park. Hailing from Richmond, Va, Brittany began singing at the age of two & enhanced her gift throughout her school age years participating in show choir, ensembles, musicals & various vocal music summer programs. Under the tutelage of renowned opera divas, Lisa Burrs & Carmen Balthrop, Brittany successfully completed her studies at the University of Maryland, College Park as a lyric soprano.

Brittany has performed at the Kennedy Center numerous times and in countless venues throughout the US & Canada. With knowledge, technique and passion in both classical & popular singing, she bridges the gap with these two styles of music in voice and has successfully released popular bodies of work nationally and internationally. Recently Brittany was a featured performer at the Richmond Jazz Festival and completed her first successful European tour of Germany & Austria in a production of the popular movie Sister Act as the Whoopi Goldberg character.

Over her years of active performing, Brittany has enjoyed teaching numerous students in voice and beginner/intermediate piano. New to the Atlanta metro area, Brittany is excited to work with many families to spread the love of music and performance!

​Brittany’s goal is to create an environment of excitement, proficiency and fun in the areas of music performance. She teaches voice students from ages 7 and up & piano students ages 5 and up.
