                                               …think of Jennings!"

Gary Jennings fulfilled a dream of owning a music store in 1982 by opening BG's Music with his brother-in-law. Located in Canton Corners (now Blackwell Square), the store featured several lines of starter instruments, refinished pianos, accessories, and music lessons. After several years, Gary bought out his brother-in-law's share of the business and renamed the store Jennings Music.

Eventually, Jennings Music grew too large to be contained in the small store in which it began. In 1987, Jennings Music moved into a two-level, freestanding building, approximately a quarter of a mile south of Piedmont Road. From this point the business grew into a full-service music store with an unusually strong private lesson program, serving as many as 700 students a week in music instruction.

Today, Jennings Music continues to provide the same helpful, personal service that helped it grow into a vital part of the music industry in Northeast Georgia. Our retail department features electric and acoustic guitars, basses, amplifiers, woodwinds, brass, and string instruments. We also have a large selection of accessories for all instruments, including strings, reeds, straps, cleaning supplies, and cases.
